With gas ballast open, the pressure of the added gas allows valve B to open faster and pump out vapors without leaving condensed liquid. - Cleans contaminated pump oil, but runs at a higher temperature and exhausts more oil mist ## Getting tubes off of vacuum barbs without risking cutting a gash in the barb Use a pair of channel pliers to grip the tube right past the end of the barb.
